Transaction Overview
Chapter International acted as exclusive sell-side advisor to Infraredi Pty Ltd in its sale to a strategic buyer, supporting the founders through an international acquisition process for one of Australia’s established red light therapy brands.
The transaction represents another cross-border mandate for the firm, involving a high-growth Australian health and wellness e-commerce brand with meaningful international traction and a differentiated position within the red light therapy market.
About Infraredi
Infraredi is a well-established Australian brand specialising in high-quality red light therapy devices. The business was created to make red light therapy more accessible to Australian consumers, who had historically faced high import costs, expensive shipping and limited after-sales support when purchasing devices from overseas.
The company offers a range of medical-grade red light therapy products, including wearable devices, targeted panels, larger flex devices and a premium pro series. Infraredi has built a strong position in the market by offering powerful, affordable devices with high irradiance and ultra-low EMF emissions.
Prior to approaching Chapter International, the founders had built a profitable international e-commerce platform with a strong product range, lean operating model and clear growth opportunities across new geographies, online marketplaces, retail partnerships and further product development.
Our Role
Chapter International managed the full transaction process on behalf of Infraredi’s founders. This included preparing the investment materials, positioning the company’s growth story, managing buyer engagement and supporting commercial negotiations through to agreement.
The firm ran a targeted outreach process across relevant strategic and financial acquirers, highlighting Infraredi’s differentiated market position, strong e-commerce fundamentals, international scalability and product-led growth potential.
Outcome
The transaction closed in January 2026, delivering a valuation in line with the upper range of the market multiple for comparable e-commerce businesses.
The transaction delivered a successful cross-border exit for Infraredi’s founders and provided the strategic buyer with an established e-commerce platform in the growing red light therapy market.
The acquisition gives the buyer a recognised consumer brand, proven direct-to-consumer infrastructure, a broad product suite and multiple avenues for future growth, including further international expansion, marketplace development, retail partnerships and continued investment into new product lines.
